De Cross-Border Task Force Corona houdt regelmatig telefonische conferenties om te spreken over de te nemen grensoverschrijdende maatregelen.<\/p><p>Daarbij staat met name de situatie in de grensregio\u2019s met betrekking tot het grensverkeer en de beschikbaarheid van bedden op de intensive care centraal. Eerder stuurden burgemeesters op initiatief van de Duitse Kreis Borken een brandbrief naar de Duitse regering dat de coronamaatregelen in het grensgebied gelijkgetrokken moesten worden. Dit om te voorkomen dat Duitsers bijvoorbeeld massaal de grens oversteken om te winkelen en Nederlanders de grens over rijden om te tanken.<\/p><p>Naast de Staatskanzlei van Noordrijn-Westfalen zijn deskundigen van verschillende ministeries van de deelstaat Noordrijn-Westfalen en uit Nederland en Belgi\u00eb, de ministeries van Buitenlandse Zaken, de ambassades, de politie en de betrokken ministeries in de taskforce vertegenwoordigd.
