In plaats van \u20ac 194,- ontvangt een familie voor het eerste en tweede kind straks \u20ac 204,- per maand. Voor kind nummer drie wordt dit \u20ac 210,- en voor elk volgend kind \u20ac 235,- per kind per maand. Een concreet voorbeeld: een familie met 3 kinderen gaat er op jaarbasis \u20ac 360,- op vooruit. Dit is stap 1, de volgende verhoging staat er al aan te komen: vanaf januari 2021 komt er per kind \u20ac 15,- per maand per kind bij.<\/p>\n<h3>Kinderfreibetrag stijgt ook<\/h3>\n<p>Het totale pakket aan maatregelen om families te ontzien omvat ook drie belastingmaatregelen. Het zogenaamde Kinderfreibetrag wordt verhoogd van \u20ac 7.428,- naar \u20ac 7.620,- per jaar. Ook de belastingvrije som stijgt, namelijk van \u20ac 9.000,- nu naar \u20ac 9.168 (vanaf 2020 naar \u20ac 9.408,-).
