The Eems Dollard Region Border Information Point (GIP EDR) holds a consultation day for cross-border workers and their employers every third Wednesday of the month. Staff from the tax authorities in Groningen and Leer, as well as the Office for German Affairs (BDZ/SVB) in Nijmegen, will be on hand to answer questions free of charge and without obligation regarding tax, old-age pensions and social insurance.
On the following dates in 2026, a representative from the Deutsche Rentenversicherung (DRV) in Münster will also be present:
21 January; 18 March; 20 May; 16 September and 9 December
The consultation days take place between 10.00 and 16.00 and are held at the Eems Dollard Regio (EDR) office. Visiting address: Bunderpoort 14, 9693 CJ Bad Nieuweschans
