GrenzInfo
Partners
Our network extends far beyond the GrenzInfoPunkte contact points themselves. We regularly exchange views with our partners in various groups, share our experiences and work together to safeguard freedom of movement at Europe’s internal borders and to remove barriers at the borders.
Collaboration
Partners
Our partners in the trade unions, particularly the Dutch and Flemish trade unions (VAKBONDEN), can also provide you with initial guidance on any questions you may have about living and working across borders.

Netz
The advice and information centres in European border regions are well acquainted with the issues faced by cross-border commuters in the areas of tax, social security and labour law. However, despite their excellent specialist knowledge, the individual advice and information centres are often only able to a limited extent (apart from providing advice to the public) to resolve the existing problems or to implement solutions effectively.
However, as mobility problems and barriers in the respective border regions are often similar and stem from the same structural or legal causes, the ‘Grenznetz’ (Border Network) was founded in Aachen in 2009. The euregio rhein-maas-nord is, amongst others, a partner in this innovative cooperation network between border regions. It is guided by two clear objectives:
The expertise of specialists in the border regions is pooled and the exchange of knowledge is deepened. At the same time, joint approaches are developed to remove barriers to mobility.
The needs and proposed solutions presented to national governments and European institutions carry greater political weight thanks to this united front.
The Border Network is convinced that its collaboration represents a further step forward. Towards more Europe in the border regions!
The Border Network’s partners are: the Sønderjylland-Schleswig region (DE, DK), Euregio (DE, NL), Euregio Meuse-Rhine (DE, NL, BE), Euregio Rhine-Meuse-North (DE-NL), the Greater Region (DE, FR, BE, LUX) and the Upper Rhine (DE, FR, CH).

Services
Specialist knowledge is essential. To this end, we work in partnership with the relevant authorities and organisations. Through various working groups, we can share our knowledge with you and you can share yours with us. In this way, we can work together to ensure the best possible information services for those seeking help.
