Webinar on Matrimonial Regimes in Germany and the Netherlands on June 23

22. April 2025

Webinar on matrimonial regimes Netherlands-Germany
Are you considering getting married, entering into a registered partnership or looking at another form of relationship, such as a cohabitation agreement? If so, there are obviously a number of things to consider. Especially if you are doing so in an international context, such as with regard to the Netherlands and Germany. After all, both countries have different (recognised) relationship forms and particularities in matrimonial property systems (such as (limited) community of property). In addition, questions often arise as to which national law applies in international marriages.
Therefore, on Monday 23 June at 6.30 pm, the Border Information Points, in cooperation with Branko Reumkens of LexQuire International Tax & Law, will organise a webinar on the topic of Matrimonial Property Systems. Participation is free of charge. During the webinar (held in Dutch), Reumkens will discuss the above themes and the financial consequences in these situations. His knowledge of both Dutch and German law makes him an expert in this area.
Registration for this webinar is possible via www.grenzinfo.eu/huwelijksvermogensrecht.
