In the Netherlands, child benefit (kinderbijslag) will be increased from 1 july 2024. The new amount will be paid for the first time at the beginning of October 2024.

Payment of child benefit
Child benefit is paid quarterly in the Netherlands. Child benefit is always paid at the end of a quarter. Child benefit is paid in the first week of January, April, July and October.
At the beginning of July 2024, you will receive the child benefit payment for the 2nd quarter of 2024. At the beginning of October 2024, you will receive the new amount of child benefit for the 3rd quarter of 2024.
