Webinar cross-border inheritance law Dutch nationals in Germany

Border Information Points are organising free webinar on May 18.

Inheritance law can quickly become very complicated, particularly in a cross-border context. For example, what happens if you are a Dutch national living in Germany and receive an inheritance from the Netherlands? In which country do you then have to pay inheritance tax? And how do you ensure that matters concerning your own estate are properly arranged if you are a German living in the Netherlands or a Dutch person living in Germany? Because many people in the Dutch-German border region live on one side of the border but have family in the other country, the Border Information Points are organising a webinar on cross-border inheritance law on May 18. Participation is free of charge.

During the webinar, Branko Reumkens, partner and civil-law notary at LexQuire Tax & Law, will speak in more detail on this topic. He is an expert in both Dutch and German inheritance law and has a particular interest in cross-border inheritance law.
