German-Dutch thematic consultation day on family benefits

16. October 2024

Do you work as a border commuter in Germany or the Netherlands and have questions about German and Dutch family benefits or parental benefit?

On November 13, the GrenzInfoPunkte along the German-Dutch border are organising a thematic consultation day on this topic. During this digital consultation, you can talk directly to employees of the relevant institutions.

Make your individual consultation appointment now and we will answer your questions about

  • Kindergeld (German child benefit)
  • Kindgebonden budget (Dutch additional child benefit)
  • Kinderbijslag (Dutch child benefit)
  • Ouderschapsverlof (Dutch parental leave)
  • Elternzeit (German parental leave)
  • Elterngeld (German parental allowance)

The thematic consultation day on Family Benefits on November 13 2025 will take place between 9:45 am and 4:30 pm. The duration of personal counselling sessions is limited to a maximum of 45 minutes.

Experts from the Familienkasse Rheinland-Pfalz-Saarland, Elterngeldstellen close to the border, an office from North Rhine-Westphalia responsible for Kinderzuschlag, the Sociale Verzekeringsbank (Bureau voor Duitse Zaken) and the GrenzInfoPunkte will be present at the meeting to answer your personal questions.
