The Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) and the Benefits Office (Dienst Toeslagen) will switch from ING to Rabobank on 1 May 2026. As a result, the bank account for payments will change. Until the transition takes place in May 2026, the current account number will remain valid.

After the transition, the new account number will be published on the Tax Administration’s website and included in correspondence. This will apply, for example, to payment information accompanying tax assessments and letters notifying repayment of benefits.

From mid-January 2026, up-to-date information about the transition will be available on the Dutch Taks Administration’s website belastingdienst.nl/bank.
